George Stefanakidis

Graduate of the Department of Theatre Studies of the University of Athens and holds a diploma in classical guitar (excellent overall and 2nd Prize).

Since 1998, he has been composing music for theatrical performances, including the performances "Look at Them" (Marios Pontikas), "Prometheus Bound" (an adaptation of Aeschylus' tragedy, Ancient Acropolis of Lepre), "Excerpts of Bulimic Speech" (Thrasos Kaminakis, Fournos Theater, Altera Pars), "Lost Love Stories" (Thrasos Kaminakis, Booze Cooperativa, Nixon), "The Bridge of Arta" (Iris Hatziantoniou, Contemporary Theater). He has composed music for films and documentaries, such as "There used to be an/other" by Pascal Caron and Melita Kouta, "The Longhorn" by Irina Boyko, etc. He directed the multimedia performance “7 by 7” that represented the Small Technical University at the Fringe Festival and was presented in Gazi in June 2009. In 2007, he founded the artistic group Chromatic Sequence in which he acted as a writer, composer, lyricist and director, presenting his works: “Seven Days Away” (2007), “Like an Old Cinema” (2010), “Allou Fun Dark” (2010/ 2014), “Belle Epoque” (2012), “Gardens” (2012/2014), “Niove-A Study in Myth” (co-production of the artistic group EUTOPIA and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Cyprus, 2013), Pietà (2016/2019), “Free Besieged” (2018/2021), 'Shakespeare Electrified' (2022).
