The artistic group EUTOPIA was founded in 2006 by actors Evelina Arapidi and Irida Chatziantoniou, inaugurating its artistic journey at Politeia Theatre with The Spring Celebration, a performance based on texts and directed by Giannis Kontrafouris.
Since then, the group has been exploring the distinctive aesthetic that emerges from the interaction between poetic language and music on the theatrical stage. The poetic masterpieces of the past, together with a wide spectrum of musical references, serve as the primary material for inspiration and research into the dialogue between the performing arts. Through this creative process, original theatrical and musical works emerge, combining classical references with a contemporary identity.
Today, the group consists of actors Evelina Arapidi, Irida Chatziantoniou and Vangelis Rokos, soprano Maira Milolidaki, and composer/writer Yorgos Stefanakidis.
