Vangelis Rokkos
Graduated with honors from the Drama School of the National Theatre in 1987, where he was awarded the "Elli Lampeti" prize. In 1986-90 he studied classical singing at the National Conservatory and in 1988-90 he attended the workshop for professional actors of Vassilis Diamantopoulos. He has participated in more than forty theatrical productions, the most recent of which are “My City’s Fairy Tales” edited by K. Stoforos and directed by I. Hadjiantoniou, “Phaedra” by M. Tsvetaeva directed by N. Diamantis, “Kangaroo” written and directed by V. Katsikonouri, “The Bridge of Arta” composed of texts by V. Rokko, I. Hadjiantoniou and directed by I. Hadjiantoniou, “Strofodines” by Vikos Nachmias directed by him for the Athens Festival, “The Manifesto of War” written and directed by Roula Pateraki for the Epidaurus Festival, “Niove” by G. Stefanakidis directed by him, “The City” by Loula Anagnostaki directed by Stelios Maina, "The Train of the Clouds" by Eugenia Fakinou directed by T. Ligaris, "The Spectacle" by John Clancy directed by V. Katsikonouris and "Root of 5" by Christos Papamichalis directed by Iosif Vardakis. He has also collaborated with directors M. Volanakis, G. Houvardas, V. Theodoropoulos, Dim. Papadopoulos, St. Tsakiris, K. Tsianos, G. Kotanidis, D. Chronopoulos, K. Damatis, G. Michalakopoulos, Sp. Papadopoulos, G. Iordanidis, G. Karahisaridis, G. Kalantzopoulos, G. Michaelides, K. Baka.
In cinema, he has acted in the films "I Sing If You Sing" by Nikos Kornilios, "Thursday 4:45" by Alexis Alexiou, "Apnoea" by Aris Bafaloukas, "The Duck Hunt" by D. Indare and "Dark Passage" by N. Nikolaidis. He has taken part in television and radio productions.
He is a member of the musical theater group EUTOPIA, with which he has appeared in seven theatrical productions to date.
He belongs to the "Peridinisis" whirling group of Iris Chatziantoniou.
